August 2023, GridLock-Games' held the very first "Bakabakan Series". The Bakbakan Series is Gridlock-Games’ unique spin on the classic “Dayo Serye,” where the studio takes its flagship title, Vi the Game, on the road. These LAN playtests serve a dual purpose: testing the latest game updates and introducing the game to new audiences through immersive, face-to-face sessions.

The event took place at Nostrax Elite, a premier gaming hub along Taft Avenue in Manila, situated right across De La Salle University (DLSU). Students from a variety of schools in the area came together to be part of the celebration, creating an energetic and welcoming atmosphere. For many, it was their first hands-on experience with Vi the Game—a chance to explore its unique mechanics, fast-paced combat, and team-based action.
